[Now Live] Multiple Footers for all PDFs

What is it?

Under Settings > PDF Settings, users can now upload multiple footers.

Why does it matter?

For businesses with multiple addresses, this allows you to create a footer for each address and easily switch the footer.

How to use it?

Under Settings, upload all the footers, and then when create a PDF, choose the footer in the dropdown.

[Now Live] Re-ordering inventories in the selection cart

What is it?

A Re-Order/Save Order button in the inventory selection cart

Why does it matter?

After changing and saving the order, the order in the selection cart will be reflected in the PDF

How to use it?

After adding inventories to the selection cart, click on Re-Order > drag and move the inventories > click on Save Order. And the PDF will have the same order.

[Now Live] Make the caption settings user-only or organization wide

What is it?

Inventory caption settings (under the Inventory Settings tab) now has the Use my captions / Use organization captions toggle.

Why does it matter?

It allows different team members to set up the captions according to their own needs, but also allows users to easily switch to the standard org-wide captions.

How to use it?

Go to Settings > Inventory Settings > Inventory Caption Formatter, and toggle between user- and org- specific captions. Please note that if you change the organization captions, it applies to all accounts.

What is it?

In each inventory list, there is now a Visible/Hidden button next to the list title.

Why does it matter?

It allows users to control which lists can be displayed on iPhone or iPad.

How to use it?

Go to any inventory list, and click on the Visible/Hidden button.

• Made the “(framed)” text in dimensions automatically apply to both cm and inches
• Added a Date Created column in inventory detailed list view
• Updated the font setting of the “Installation Views” text in the viewing rooms

[Now Live] More sorting options for inventory lists

What is it?

Under the Inventory tab, in lists/exhibitions/fairs, there is a new Order By button.

Why does it matter?

Previously, the inventory lists can only be sorted by alphabetical order. Now there are chronological sortings.

How to use it?

Click on the Order By button, and choose the order as desired.

What is it?

A newly added sold artworks report that shows all sold artworks with a matching invoice in ARTERNAL.

Why does it matter?

It helps users to better understand the sales data, including how many artworks were sold, when they were sold, how long it takes to be sold, etc.

How to use it?

Go to the Reports tab, click on the Sold artworks report.

• Fixed an issue where the dimension are rounding automatically
• Fixed an issue where the viewing room description font couldn’t be changed
• Fixed an issue with inventory numbers for artist without a first/last name

[Now Live] New tag search in Inventory and Contacts

What is it?

Wherever there is tag/role search in ARTERNAL, we now have updated our tag search tool

Why does it matter?

It improves the search experience, makes it easier to add a tag/role, and thus reduces the likelihood of users creating duplicate tags/roles.

How to use it?

Click on the downward arrow to expand the dropdown with all tags/roles. You can also search for tags/roles. To remove a tag or role, click on the red “x” mark.

[Now Live] Artist Biography field is now added into the artist page

What is it?

When editing an artist, there is now a Biography field

Why does it matter?

It stores the artist biographical information, so that users can easily pull it up and add it into PDF/smart mails/etc.

How to use it?

In Inventory, click into an artist in the sidebar, click on the edit button, and enter the artist bio

What is it?

In the smart mail tab, there is a newly added search bar. If you click into any smart mail, it will also have the contact search bar.

Why does it matter?

It allows users to quickly find the smart mail instead of scrolling through all of the smart mails or contacts.

How to use it?

Click on the search bar and type in smart mail titles or contact names.

🎉 Mobile UX Improvements: Updated the share link process so that users no longer need to enter a contact to send a share link.

[Now Live] Users can now create custom fields in inventory

What is it?

In inventory, there is a new “Custom Fields” section, where you can create your own custom fields that will show up in all inventories.

Why does it matter?

It allows users to add their own custom fields on top of the preset inventory fields, so that users can document artwork information according to their needs and preferences.

How to use it?

Go to Settings > Inventory Custom Fields > + New Field to create a new field. For more information, check out this tutorial article.

• Ensured that if a report shows a private contact, the contact information displays as [private contact]

• Fixed a bug where there could be duplicate contacts in the smart mail pipeline
• Updated inventory dimensions so that they are no longer being rounded

What is it?

The two arrow buttons on the page when you click into a contact.

Why does it matter?

This new feature helps users to navigate between different contacts more easily, and users no longer need to always go back to the contact main page.

Go to the Contacts tab, click into any contact, and you will see the arrow buttons on the top.

What is it?

The Show works without notes checkbox in the inventory filter window.

Why does it matter?

Users can now quickly filter out inventories without any note.

How to use it?

Go to Inventory > Show Filters > Notes, and click on the checkbox.
