2025 was a big year for ARTERNAL and the galleries we serve. We introduced new ways to learn about your collectors, improved Online Viewing Rooms, and huge mobile app updates!
2025 was a big year for ARTERNAL and the galleries we serve. We introduced new ways to learn about your collectors, improved Online Viewing Rooms, and huge mobile app updates.
As 2026 starts, we want to share the features that helped galleries the most. Here’s how ARTERNAL has changed to meet the real needs of art galleries and how they actually work.
Smarter Collector Engagement
It’s important to know what your collectors want. In 2025, we added Contact Interest Tracking so you can see what each collector is interested in, like artists, price ranges, mediums, and sizes.
More Powerful Online Viewing Rooms
Online Viewing Rooms remained important for galleries in 2025. We worked to make them easier to use and more helpful for both galleries and collectors.
The new OVR analytics dashboard shows how collectors interact with your presentations. You can track visits, time spent, artwork views, document views, inquiries, and see where visitors are located.
Managing OVR links is now easier with a dashboard that shows all your links, visit counts, and creation dates in one place.
More Transparent Tax
Getting paid should be simple. In 2025, we added tax rate breakdowns by jurisdiction to make invoicing clearer. Now, when you create an invoice, you can see how state, county, city, and special district rates add up using data from TaxJar. This takes the guesswork out of complex sales.
Faster Data Migration
Moving your data into ARTERNAL is now faster with the new Import Wizard. You can upload CSV or Excel files and map fields for contacts, works, inventory, and transactions, with step-by-step guides for each type.
The Import Wizard makes data migration simple with guided field mapping for contacts, works, and transactions.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Everything we built in 2025 was based on your feedback. In 2026, we’ll keep working on tools to help you understand your collectors, show your inventory clearly, and run your gallery more smoothly. More updates are on the way, including new AI features to help you save time.
