Your gallery website, now built on ARTERNAL

We now build gallery websites that run on ARTERNAL. Update a work once and your website shows it too. Join the waiting list.

A lot of the galleries we work with use one tool for inventory, another for their website, another for email, and a spreadsheet or two in between. When a new show goes up, someone types the same artists, works and dates into each one.

We now build gallery websites that run on ARTERNAL, so you only enter that information once.

Your website uses what’s already in ARTERNAL

Your website pulls its artists, artworks, exhibitions and fairs from your ARTERNAL account. When you add a work to a show, change an image or move an exhibition’s dates in ARTERNAL, your website shows the change too. You don’t have to update anything twice.

It also works the other way. When someone asks about a work on your website, you get an email and they’re added to your contacts. People who sign up for your newsletter are added to your contacts too, on their own list, so they’re ready for your next Smart Mail or your Mailchimp sync.

Designed around your gallery

Our team designs each website for the gallery it belongs to, using your fonts, colors and layout. The site lives on your own domain, and the domain stays in your name.

Each website comes with:

  • Design and build
  • Hosting
  • Custom fonts and a brand kit
  • Setup for search engines and AI tools, so people can find your gallery
  • Priority website support

Once your site is live, you manage it from the CMS tab in ARTERNAL. That’s where you choose which artists, shows and works appear, write news and press posts, and publish your changes.

Coming from another website platform?

We’ve already moved galleries over from other website platforms. If your inventory and contacts are in ARTERNAL, most of what your site needs is already there. If some of your history only exists on your old site, like past exhibitions, we’ll help you bring it into ARTERNAL as part of the build.

Most builds take about two weeks. You fill in a short planning form, meet with us twice about the design, review the site, and then it goes live.
